A mental health awareness brand with a difference, aiming to encourage individuals with busy lifestyles to slow down and check in with their own well being.
When founder Alex described her visual influences to me as retro, vintage neon, tattoo script and 70’s band posters, I knew we were going to be a great team. We developed a hand illustrated floral logo design inspired by her blog Wildflower, and took the illustrated botanical elements throughout her print materials and overall branding. One of the most important things to get right with this project was the colour palette, as Alex wanted to incorporate contrasting visual influences to create something very fresh and unique and reflect the nature of her brand. I drew on a mix of retro and vintage influences to create a palette that incorporates reds, pinks and greens against lots of white space for impact, and the result is a raw, simple aesthetic with a unique edge.
